Donster
Morning all. 61F under clear skies. Today is shaping up to be pretty mild for late October. Widespread highs in the lower to middle 70s look likely, even with some clouds around. Those clouds will steadily increase this afternoon, which may bring a passing shower or two. Whatever we do get will be isolated. That rain chance will continue tonight, but again, any showers will be few and far between.

mikew
Nice sunny day for a change, might hit 60F. A heads up (literally) for those of you in the Thirteen Colonies. You've got a rocket launch 6.45pm EDT to look at: http://spaceflightnow.com/2014/10/26/rocket-launch-could-dazzle-u-s-east-coast/

Stans
Unfortunately, my view toward the east is somewhat blocked by trees, so I will see nothing.

Stans
The launch was cancelled, seems there is a boat out in the ocean in the area where the rocket would splash down if something went wrong. Launch will now be tomorrow at 1819 EDT.

Stans
Yep, and evidently they tried to contact someone on that boat, but never received an answer and the boat remained in the red zone.
