Donster
Morning all. 1F under clear skies with -12F wind chill. Today a minor disturbance will cross the region with quite a few clouds and a chance of some light snow or flurries late in the day. The light snow or flurries will come to an end Tuesday night with little if any accumulation in most areas. HIgh of 13F expected.
Stans
Morning y'all, 12F and clear skies, expecting a sunny day, but highs will peak out at 31F. Still too early to be absolutely sure of the weekend weather. The National Weather Service, which uses the American GFS model and considers nothing else, has forecast snow for Friday, but warming temperatures will change it to rain, then a brief period of snow before dawn Saturday, little accumulation. The European and Canadian models are far more bullish, making this an all-snow event. I guess that is why The Weather Channel says 5-8 inches of snow on Friday, then snow on Saturday mixing with rain in the afternoon, then ending as snow Saturday night. Local guys can't make up their minds are all over the map on this one, some saying all snow, up to 12 inches, and some saying mostly rain and wind.
