Stans
Morning y'all and happy Saint Paddy's Day to ya! 45F under clear skies, expecting sunshine and 74F today, cold for the weekend and perhaps more snow Saturday night and into Sunday. Winter ain't done screwing with us. As for the corned beef and cabbage, there were no cows in Ireland in the 17th century, so corned beef and cabbage is a modern dish. To be traditional, a barely stew made with lamb, onions, carrots, and potatoes would be more appropriate. Beer? Ireland used to be the land of ale, but most of those old brewers are gone. Guinness is now the most widely known Irish beer and it is a stout. Oh, well, top 'o tha marnin to ya!
