Baltar Posted June 11, 2005 Report Share Posted June 11, 2005 Yeah for sure. Sounds better but does not match the quality of the Wright engine effects you let me try, those REALLY sound good. I actually have it sounding like the Wright for now. I'll have to switch er back over to the Pratt and Whitney before I get too used to it! This Corsair was a freeware model so I guess you get what you pay for. It is still way better than the CFS2 stock model though which I was making do with in times past. Stans Posted June 11, 2005 Author Report Share Posted June 11, 2005 A full sound pack adds 6 MB or more to a plane and for those with dial up, that can be a problem. When I had dial up I just dreaded the big downloads and prefered to download a bunch of small files instead. The best thing about MS sims is the way the sound files can be aliased to another aircraft or you can install a separate sound package for individual aircraft, something I wish had been done in IL2/AEP/PF.
