Sorry, it's nice and sunny so I've been ordered to fix things outside.:(

...just managed to send this while she's not looking.

I hear ya!  I had to change my schedule of things I wanted to do to accommodate my wife's schedule of things she is going to have me do.

A bit morbid, but just remember:

This message brought to you via the "Yard Work Escape Network'

Yard Work Escape Network!    I think I'm an affiliate of that network.

That song's style and sound reminds me of the works by Styx and Queen.

But, if we are going to simply carry on, then...

Well, let's start at the beginning so I've just listened to this:

Some good stuff, especially the violin parts.

The problem with 'prog rock' bands is that you have to wade through lots of self-indulgent stuff to get at the good bits. Luckily that Kansas album had lots of good bits. :)

It's not just prog rock, but so many forms of music.  I have not bought an album in decades, got tired of buying nine songs I did not care for just to get one I liked.  Thank goodness for YouTube!

I still buy albums, although only after thorough vetting on YouTube. It's all from Amazon though due to the demise of shops selling gramophone records.

Hopefully YouTube will be around a while, as it's full of quirky stuff like this that I'd never buy.
