No105_Archie
Gents: I am going to visit my cousin in Urbana Ohio during the first two weeks of July. I'm crossing the border at Ft Erie / Buffalo and heading to Ohio. Any of you buggers along the route ? or within an hour's drive of Urbana ? If so we could maybe meet & have a beer. Urbana is just north of Springfield and pretty much due west of Columbus. My only worry now is if the old beaufighter can carry enough fuel to make it

Schatten
Archie, I live about 2 hours from Erie...and Pittsburgh and Cleveland...basically I live in the middle of BFE but it's a short drive to 3 not too bad cities, when you come down through Erie are you taking I-79 to I-80? I live right along I-80 and about an hour from where the 2 interstates hook up, there's a really not bad place to eat and get a beer in Sharon PA which is right on the PA/Ohio border about 15-20 miles or so west of where 79 and 80 hook up, some of the best wings in the world. So if you're going by that way lemme know and I can probably swing something. Urbana Ohio isn't a bad place at all either, I went there a couple times to visit relatives when I was a kid. No105_Archie
My plan was to take I90 all the way. I had a look at my map and couldn't locate the place you spoke of. Thanks for the offer but if I get lost the wife will have a canary and ...that's not "a good thing"
Schatten
It's pretty much the same way, you'd just go from 90 to 11 to 80 to Akron instead of 90 the whole way, about the same distance but in a S then W way instead of a straight SW one. Youngstown OH is 2 miles west of Sharon more or less, Sharon is the PA-OH bordertown, lots of gunfights and cattle rustlers... If you ever get down that way definately check out the Quaker Steak and Lube for the wings.
Old Guy
Ohio? Have you thought this over carefully? I've been to Ohio. :-) Come on out to Colorado. All you'll need are your sunglasses, sunscreen and maybe an oxygen bottle. Heh. Jim
Donster
Does anybody really 'live' between Ontario & Ohio? Or do they just exist?
