I voted, but for the first time in my adult life I did not cast a ballot for anyone running for my state senate district. There were two candidates. From the D-team, a pedophile, who lost his law license and copped a plea deal to avoid what was a slam-dunk felony conviction for statutory rape. From the I-team, a pot head whose entire platform was the legalization of marijuana and allowing convicted felons to legally posses firearms, thus avoiding that mandatory sentencing associated with a convicted felon being arrested and in possession of a firearm. From the R-team... they didn't even put up a candidate. The pervert won as did the candidates for state house and senate race who received money from Michael Bloomberg. He now owns this state.
