mikew Posted April 19, 2020 Report Share Posted April 19, 2020 It's difficult to tell from these figures what the trend is. Presumably, some of those 1422 'Hospitalized' have now been released or have died. The number of deaths isn't that reliable either due to the registration process. It seems that the best way would be to count how many people are currently in hospital/Intensive care. For us that's about 2200/520 in a population of about 10,000,000 but has been relatively constant for a few days. So, by those numbers, Virginia is doing pretty well.
