Stans Posted May 2, 2020 Report Share Posted May 2, 2020 Morning y'all, day 33 of 70. Clear skies and 45F. Expecting lots of sunshine and a high of 72F today. Received an email from the SBA at 11:30 PM last night. They indicated that they are processing my EIDL application, applications are being processed in the order they were received. I submitted my loan application on the evening of March 29, just minutes after their EIDL online application portal became active. I was the 84th applicant. I think it took them 3 weeks to make a grant of $3000, they based that grant on me having 3 employees, now the SBA is actually looking at making the loans. I'm hoping they will give me a loan. Due to insurance companies taking anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months to pay claims, I expect I will be in a severe cash crunch by the end of May. Stans Posted May 2, 2020 Author Report Share Posted May 2, 2020 Thanks, Donnie, hopefully the SBA will come through with some funds, I know an SBA loan has a much lower interest rate than the business credit card.
