Stans
Morning y'all, overcast skies, 70F, and wet. Rain this morning has brought us another 3/10 of an inch of water and another flash flood watch. Expecting the rain to move off to the northeast, then we should have a cloudy morning and afternoon, a high of 83F, and a 40% chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Based on the 10-day forecast, we will dry out next week. The gulf coast sure won't be dry next week. A duo of tropical storms set to hit the U.S. with tropical storm Marco hitting Texas in the very late hours of Tuesday and tropical storm, and possibly strengthening to a hurricane, Laura hitting Louisiana in the late hours of Wednesday. The Dude
The storm and the destruction in Iowa is ... oddly ... not very newsworthy, apparently. I'd have thought it would have received more national media coverage than it has.

Except during the start of the presidential primary system, Iowa and the rest of middle America get very little attention.
