Stans Posted August 28, 2020 Report Share Posted August 28, 2020 Morning y'all, partly cloudy skies, 72F, and wet after last night's surprise thunderstorm. It was a big one too, with lots of rain. Expecting increasing cloudiness this morning and total overcast by noon. Today's high is forecast to be 91F. Chance of thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon as the remnants of hurricane Laura move over Virginia. Hurricane Laura was a massive storm and making landfall as a strong category 4, more powerful than hurricane Katrina. It retained hurricane strength for 11 hours on land.
