Not counting the 19 terrorists who hijacked and crashed the commercial airliners, 2,977 people perished during the attacks on September 11, 2001.  More than 6,000

people suffered injuries and 11 pregnancies were lost.  Of all the deaths, only 55 were military personnel, all at the Pentagon.

Since the attacks on September 11, many people who were at or near the World Trade Center on September 11 or during the days, weeks, and months after, in which recovery efforts were made and the debris was being removed, have developed chronic lung diseases.  1,140 people who worked, studied, or lived in Lower Manhattan at the time of the attack have been diagnosed with cancers directly linked to the airborne dust created by the collapsing buildings.  19 people have died of chronic lung disease linked to the dust and debris.  More than 1400 rescue workers who responded to the World Trade Center on September 11 or in the days following the attack have now died.

May we never forget, September 11, 2001.

watched a documentary on the TSA agents. They interviewed one and he said they just went through training not to stereotype people. So when one of the hijackers went by him, he just had a feeling about the guy but had to let him go due to the new guidelines. his gut was right and it haunts hims to this day..
