Stans
The IL2 series may not model wind, but FS2004 sure does, at least with the Jessup real time weather turned on. Local conditions are 20 mph winds, gusting to 30. Chesterfield County airport has only one runway and the wind is blowing perpendicular to said runway. I can take off, though it is not easy nor pretty, but landing has proven to be too much for me. My crate (North American T-28C) crabs at about a 30 degree angle and just slides off the asphalt sideways. Damn, and I looked so good flying it! Baltar
Yeah I love that real world stuff, puts it in perspective, sometimes you just have to say, "nah this ain't a good time". Then you load up some other weather.
