The 54th annual EAA AirVenture Fly-in, The World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration, is coming July 24-30 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Ogdens and I were talking and we were wondering if a group of us CSIM'ers could all get together for a day or two at Oshkosh? Any interest? They have campgrounds for those who wish to camp, there of course are hotels in the area, you can fly into Madison, WI and a we could recon there and drive up. Just 2 hours or less. Could be alot of fun!

Well, I have a USN G-2, which is very similar, and if temps are much above 45F, I get pretty damned hot wearing my flight jacket.

Stans a few of the times I have been at the show it was sunny, upper 80's and so was the humidity. The time I met up with Oggie and his family, it was raining in the morning but cleared off later on in the day. Temps were just fine.

Yeah, I'm thinking temps that time of the year are going to be 80 to 90F, not leather jacket weather. Unless you want to end up in the first aid tent with an IV line in a vein.

Yea, and not only that they'd have to cut the jacket off poor ol'Donnie. :(

But on the upside, bet he could get some great pics of the nurse babes.
