At least not in a 30mph wind that seems to be carrying every piece of loose dirt in New Mexico. It's only 80f, we can last another week without air conditioning, right? Donster Posted April 24, 2006 Report Share Posted April 24, 2006 At 10am this morning my day turned to scheiss. Lottie's PC went tits up. Power Supply wouldn't even move a fan. Replaced it (always have a new one in stock). Then it would power up, no video. The mobo is a Gigabyte GA-K8N51GMF-9 (. It uses an NVIDIA 6100 onboard video. (she doesn't game at all) Did some searching on the net and found out that early versions of this board have FUBARED video chips. So now I have to RMA it to Gigabyte and pray they send me a new one before I have to send in the old one. And this is not the only problem with this board either. It has been flawless until today, so I don't know when the PSU croaked it finally set of a chain reaction or what. I might go ahead and look for another brand of mobo, though I don't really want to reformat the HD. I stuck a vid card in it and got it running, but it also FUBARED the onboard LAN chip!
